For over 40 years, the Gay Alliance has been here to provide assitance and services to those in need, and in the next few months our services, support, and location will dramatically improve as we move to our new headquarters. In our new space we will be able to offer more programs for people of all ages, perform more outreach to diverse populations, and create the Rochester LGBTQ Resource Center. The new LGBTQ Resource Center will be a unique resource for the Greater Rochester Community, with a lending library of over 10,000 LGBTQ themed books, movies, and publications; an art gallery; the David Bohnett Cyber Center; and a 900 square foot Education Center.
Please be a part of our community’s effort to raise the funds necessary to better serve our area’s LGBTQ residents. Our goal is to raise $35,000 by December 1st to allow us to expand our programming and complete our building project. We need your support more than ever to make this a reality! We’re asking you to make a gift that will be truly transformative, as we work in solidarity to be visible, accessible, and inclusive in our programming as we build a home for you at 100 College Avenue.
