Adoption S.T.A.R. is a non-profit, New York State authorized adoption agency specializing in identifying homes for infants who are at risk for entering the foster care system. Offers the experience of adoption, a full training curriculum, advocacy assistance and comprehensive resources on adoption. These services allow prospective adoptive parents and birth parents to explore all the adoption options and to receive the appropriate information and education necessary to access those options. I am certified in Therapy with Adoption and Foster Families with specific training in attachment issues, trauma, abuse, and neglect. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families that are affected by issues of adoption, foster care, and relative-care, as well as life-stage changes, issues of grief and loss, substance abuse, and caregiver issues.

I am an experienced, culturally-aware therapist that has worked with a diverse client population, ranging from alternative lifestyles, various cultures, races, and religions. I am available for family, couple, and individual counseling.

I currently have immediate availability and offer a flexible schedule with evening hours.

We are a national not-for-profit charitable organization that recruits foster and adoptive families for special needs children who have been waiting the longest for a “forever” family. We have brought together more than 6,000 children and families in our 37 years of service.

We are dedicated to finding adoptive families for America’s waiting children! We would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about the adoption process, registering a child with CAP, or our services. Rainbow Babies

The Rainbow Babies vision is to provide a central area for general information on the many aspects of GLBT pregnancies and parenting. We will also provide space for parents or would-be parents to share their stories about their respective paths to parenthood.
