Trans Panel: Voices of the Community

Trans Panel: Voices of the Community

TIME: 1-2 hours

The goals of this panel presentation are: to broaden participant’s understanding of transgender, non-binary and gender expansive identities; to increase awareness of barriers to care by hearing personal experiences from our panelists, both positive and negative, in healthcare, mental health agencies, corporations, schools and campuses; and to offer best practice tips for creating more inclusive environments in our schools and workplaces. Trans identified LGBTQ Academy Speakers Bureau members will share their personal experiences and encourage participants to ask questions and dialogue in a safe and respectful environment.
