This morning, Gay Alliance Executive Director Scott Fearing stopped by the WROC-8 station to discuss the deadly Orlando shooting over the weekend that resulted in the loss of 50 lives (so far) and injuries to tens more. The massacre is now considered the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. During the interview segments with Mark Gruba and Allison Warren, Fearing emphasized how important it is for all of us to live authentic lives and that for LGBT people, this also means sharing our lives with our families and friends. The key is keeping the communication lines and the conversations open. In this regard, there will be a community rally at 7 p.m. tonight — Monday June 13. Plans are for community members to meet in front of the LGBTQ sculptures by the Bachelor Forum at 670 University Ave Rochester NY 14607.
