Jennifer Mathews joined the Gay Alliance Board in 2015. Dr. Mathews received both her B.A. (1995; SUNY Potsdam) and M.S. (2000; University of Northern Colorado) in Biological Sciences and earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (2007). She began her tenure at St. John Fisher College in 2007 and is now an Associate Professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy. Dr. Mathews is published and has presented locally and nationally on topics related to the importance of LGBTQ curricular-inclusion in the training of future healthcare providers. She lives in Webster, NY with her husband Austin and their three rescue animals.
